July 19 -28 Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington KY to Steamboat, CO

WOW! Kentucky in this particular area is just rolling hills and beautiful horse park after beautiful horse park. The RV park at the Kentucky Horse Park was great. We would stay here again. Beautifully landscaped, walking distance to the actual Horse Park, a great pool and quiet safe area. For some reason, this was the only place along our stay people weren't as friendly? I am not really sure why, or if it just happened to be a fluke, but everywhere we went in this area, people were just ok.

You can tour the Horse Park and go to events, which we were excited to do, unfortunately on the one day we had there, they had a power outage. We were still able to visit and pet the horses, but they did not have any shows, and we could not go into the store or museums. I think it would have been a longer and more fun experience there if they had power! We cut out time short visiting the park, and took a ride to Louisville and had lunch at Agave and Rye. https://www.agaveandrye.com/locations/agave-rye-louisville. These were hands down the best tacos I have ever had. The location, I think I would need to give Louisville a second chance. seems like a little bit of a rough area, but needless to say, I would go back to eat those Tacos!

We spent 2 nights at the Horse Park and hit the road west to Colorado. We spend one night in Columbia Missouri at Cottonwoods RV just to sleep

https://cottonwoodsrvpark.com/amenities.html. Nothing special what so ever, just a good spot to spend one night. We found a huge multiple baseball field area close by and walked down and ran the fields a few times to move our bodies and went to bed!

Our next quick stop was in Kansas. WaKeeney Journey KOA. What a cute freakin town! So small, and in the middle of nowhere. A few miles away from the park was a self serve 9 hole golf course. The town was also adorable, I can not imagine living in such a little place, but I'm sure there is something very peaceful about it.

I will say, the sky in Kansas is very intimidating! We saw a small funnel cloud, and I can't imagine being in a real tornado, no thank you Kansas!

July 23. Arrive in Breckenridge, CO

OK! One of my favorite places on earth immediately. Tiger Run Resort, WOW. I see why this place has such amazing reviews. Not only is it beautiful everywhere you look, there is a river that runs through it, cabins that people own that you can also rent that is a little community within itself, and so much more. Tiger run is also located right between Frisco and Breckenridge, 12 minutes in each direction you are in the sweetest towns. https://www.tigerrunresort.com/

We got settled and went straight to check out the town. We could definitely live here! We ate at a Mexican restaurant right in town, delicious tacos and amazing queso! https://www.sanchotaco.com/. They also have a lot of great shopping in town, we hit some stores, and left some for the next day too!

Our first full day Summer and I decided on a girls day, and Brian went golfing at Breckenridge golf club. https://www.breckenridgegolfclub.com/. One of his top two favorite places ever, so gorgeous. Summer and I also found a great heated yoga studio, Meta Yoga. https://www.metayogastudios.com/

Felt a lot life home, same vibes, decent yoga, nice and hot! Good instructors, loved the dark vibe inside. Totally my style. They have a location in Breck and Frisco.

The rest of our girls day consisted of Starbucks, shopping all the Breck shops, and having lunch at our new favorite place, Gold Pan Saloon. We happened to walk by and saw some delicious sandwiches getting served and we turned around!https://thegoldpansaloon.com/ We had the cuban, I will dream of it!

Cuban Sandwich

$19.00

French baguette, slow roasted pork, ham, pickles, Swiss cheese, housemade cuban sauce.

GET THIS*** Brian got a cheeseburger, also awesome. This restaurant has been around forever, and you can tell. Worth a stop, or two if you are us!

We enjoyed bike rides around Tiger Run, and a short hike along the river by the resort. There is a Walart is Frsico and a Target located in Silverthorne about 20 minutes away. There are people enjoying the outdoors everywhere. We look forward to going back and hiking! No grizzlies in Breck, so I like that too!

Our last night we spent at red rock amphitheater, AMAZING! https://www.redrocksonline.com/. We saw Melissa Ethridge and the Indigo girls, what a fun venue and a view worth seeing. We hope to go back someday! Summer and I were going to return in the morning for yoga, but the drive from Breckenridge was over an hour and we just couldn't make the quick turn around. Off to steamboat!

Steamboat July 26-28

Another adorable town! Not as cute as Breck, but still really sweet. I can see how you could love it here and make some summer time and winter time memories here easily. We stayed at Steamboat springs KOA, which was great! There was a beautiful view of the mountains, the KOA is right on the river, and we were just a few minutes from town! https://koa.com/campgrounds/steamboat-springs/

We arrived and went straight to the rodeo! What a fun night!! https://www.eventticketscenter.com/steamboat-springs-pro-rodeo-series-steamboat-springs-tickets/1092645/e?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=357466385&gclid=CjwKCAjw49vEBhAVEiwADnMbbNXR0u0OhxxZT2c9J0e9jmrqb_T5LPaY7BeZyVZYdQIaUm2nJv82uRoCJ1EQAvD_BwE

The rodeo has the best food, and such a fun vibe! I loved that they serve dinner prior, there is a band playing, and the rodeo is as legit as it gets!! If you are there on a Saturday in the summer, GO!
